How To Use This Chat Room
There are two methods for choosing a name with this chat room. The first is to be automatically assigned as GUEST##### when the room starts. Being known as GUEST##### is not bad but it makes it hard for anyone to know who they are talking to, so once you make it into the room to change your name simply type the following command: /nick YourNameHere. Substitute the YourNameHere for what ever name you choose. For example if you wanted to be known as Dilbert you would type: /nick Dilbert and then press enter.

The second method is pretty simple. In the box next to where it says Your Nickname: type what ever name you desire to use. Sometimes it might be that this name is already registered to someone else and if that is the case you will be notified of this in the chat room.

Once you are in the chat room you are pretty much free to chat.
This application requires Java suport.

Key Commands to using this chat room
Basic commands for the chat room
/me - this allows you to perform actions. So if you type /me drinks a glass of water it will show up on the screen as <yournickname> drinks a glass of water

/nick - This command allows you to change your nickname in the chat room. So if you type /nick Creampuff it well showup on the screen as * (your previous name) is now known as Creampuff
 
To chat: 
When the applet above loads, Click the 'Load Chat Client' Button 
Enter a nickname (You can leave the rest alone) and click 'Connect' 
The client will connect, you will be placed in the CSBchat room. 

Other Useful Info: 
Note: You don't have to do or know these commands in order to chat, they are just useful. 
Tip: When logging on, If you get a message saying that the 'Nickname is registered' or your name gets changed to Guest####.. That means that someone has already registered that name and you must choose another (Sorry). Try adding a ` before or after your nick. Like if you wanted the nickname Creampuff but someone already owns it, try `Creampuff or Creampuff` 

-Changing Nicknames in chat: 
To change your nickname while in chat type: /nick NICKNAME 
Example: If you wanted your nick to be Creampuff 
You would type: /nick Creampuff 

-Private Messages: 
To message someone privately, just double click their nickname. A new window will open in which you can chat. 

-Actions: 
To do an action type: /me Action 
Example: 
/me is bored 
/me jumps around the room 
etc. 

-Registering a nickname: 
Registering a name will make sure no one else can use your nickname. 
To register a name, first change your nick to the one you want, then type the following: 
/ns register password email 
Replacing 'password' and 'email' with a password and your email. 
Example:
/ns register XXXXXXX CSBMember@aol.com

-After registering: 
To identify to your nickname (So the server knows it's you) type: 
/ns identify password 
'password' being the pass you entered when your registered. 

To make it so no one else can use your nickname type: 
/ns set protect on 

-Room Operators: 
OPs are people with a @ by their name.
